Your role, your impact

As a partner, strategic clients, your primary objective will be to lead and expand business development activities for the telecommunications business sector. You will manage your client portfolio and be responsible for targeted accounts and proactively identifying strategic business opportunities to support our clients in achieving their business objectives and solving their challenges.

You will engage directly with our clients and be responsible for maintaining long-term, trusted relationships with them to design and implement proposals that leverage the company’s areas of expertise, such as business strategy, application services, enterprise solutions, and data and analytics. If you are motivated and stimulated by the prospecting and sales of solutions related to technology initiatives, then this role is for you!

Your day-to-day

  • Drive profitable growth by developing market-relevant ideas to increase market share or create new markets;

  • Identify and manage opportunities with our strategic clients, while selling and creating new opportunities within your portfolio;

  • Ensure account growth by developing annual plans for the accounts under your responsibility and executing strategies to generate new sales;

  • Participate in the oversight and governance of all engagements sold and being delivered;

  • Work with delivery managers to explore the potential of our existing clients and partners;

  • Define the budget and sales projections in collaboration with the Business Sector Vice-President;

  • Play an active role in drafting proposals to our clients;

  • Participate in the negotiation and establishment of contractual vehicles with our partners.

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or another field relevant to the business sector;

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in management or technology consulting, with extensive experience in managing client mandates or projects and in business development;

  • In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing, energy or telecommunications sector and its market structure, including products, players, technologies, sector dynamics and relevant regulatory issues;

  • Demonstrated influencing, negotiation and analytical skills;

  • Ability to understand our products, our competition in the sector and our market positioning.

Extra edge

  • Excellent network of contacts in one or more relevant sectors (manufacturing, energy, telecommunications), including clients, suppliers and partners.

Language skills

  • French: Proficient
  • English: Advanced

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, an advanced level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a frequent basis with clients outside of Quebec.
