Your role, your impact
As a senior infrastructure engineer, with a focus on building and integrating SQL Server, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing and maintaining our infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Your day-to-day

Design, build and integrate SQL Server databases to support our applications and services;

Develop and manage SSIS packages for ETL processes and SSRS for reporting solutions;

Optimize the performance, availability and security of SQL Server instances;
-
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of SQL Server with applications;
-
Implement and manage HPC environments to support HPC workloads;
-
Use Azure cloud services to enhance infrastructure scalability and resilience;
-
Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, ensuring timely resolution;
-
Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes and configurations;
-
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure.
Keys to your success

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field;

SQL Server and Azure certifications;
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a systems engineer;

Proven experience in building and integrating SQL Server;

Strong expertise in SSIS, SSRS and Azure cloud services;

Experience with HPC environments;
-
Deep understanding of database management, performance tuning and security;

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python;

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
