We participated as an exhibiting sponsor at the 2015 American Nuclear Society (ANS) Utility Working Conference (UWC) and Vendor Technology Expo held August 9 – 12, at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation.

The theme this year was “Nuclear Sustainability – Rising to the Challenge”. The UWC provided a broad array of seminar topics, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. Key sessions included: “Online Execution”, “Outage Performance Improvement Initiatives”, “Resource Utilization Effectiveness and Proper Utilization of Fix it Now (FIN) Teams”, and “Developing Maintenance Strategies While Balancing Reliability and Costs”.

One highlight was the presence of the INPO Working Group on Work Management and Maintenance who reviewed key performance trends, directions for improvements, and facilitated a discussion around new Work Management Performance Indicators driven by the anticipated INPO AP928 rev4 Online Maintenance Standard.

This event gave us the opportunity to share observed trends and practices in Online Maintenance with leaders in the Nuclear industry in addition to discussing adoption plans for AP928 rev4, Outage Management, and Equipment Reliability. We also demonstrated how our CASSI™ solution can assist in each of these focused areas.
