The excitement surrounding the month of September has been in full swing at Alithya, with several events in recent days positioning our women and our leaders at the forefront.
On September 13th, Alithya hosted members of the Cercle des Présidents du Québec marketing network, an association comprised of presidents of Quebec businesses and their marketing managers.
The evening included a discussion about how, as marketing managers in a context of general labor shortages, human resources issues have become a priority. Alithya has certainly explored new avenues for engaging our teams in hybrid mode!
On September 14th, the Women in Leadership (WIL) committee welcomed Lucie Martel and Dana Ades-Landy, both members of Alithya's Board of Directors. The memorable evening focused on experience sharing, self-improvement and self-confidence, the development of inner strength, and promoting female successes at Alithya.
Led by WIL committee chairs and Alithya CEO, Paul Raymond, the event also included lively discussions and networking amongst participants.
After a 2-year hiatus, the Women in Governance 2022 Annual Recognition Gala took place on September 15th at Montreal’s Palais des congrès.
The evening included inspirational speeches from Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs (Canada), Valérie Plante, Mayor of Montreal, and Caroline Codsi, President and Founder of Women in Governance.
Last year, Alithya was awarded bronze certification from the foundation, sending a strong signal that Alithya is committed to providing a workplace where women can thrive.
Alithya recently published its inaugural ESG Report. The initial report provides a transparent overview of current initiatives with respect to social, environmental, and governance issues. The 40-page report underscores Alithya’s commitment to incorporating the philosophy into all business processes, while building on the foundations of our accomplishments to date.
In a competitive talent recruitment landscape, parity and diversity are essential elements. A more inclusive corporate culture improves employee engagement, and Alithya is well-positioned to make that happen!
