The purpose of this position : 

 

We are looking for a Corporate and Internal Communications advisor with strong writing skills in both English and French and has extensive experience in corporate communications. Their role will be to energize and activate mainly internal communication strategies using their talents in corporate writing and marketing. They will also create internal communications strategies, both to drive internal communications as well as develop and deploy communications strategies for human resources files, corporate acquisitions and major corporate projects.

 

A typical work day : 

 

  • Develop and implement communications plans with leadership and autonomy ensuring consistency and uniformity of messaging, coordination of activities as well as adherence to deadlines and budgets;
  • Develop a variety of corporate and internal communications strategies, covering company life, culture, services, successes/achievements, employee profiles, etc., having both a strategic and pragmatic vision of the organization;
  • Write communications of diverse, engaging and dynamic strategic importance;
  • Plan communications content and strategies related to internal projects and coordinate with stakeholders in relevant sectors;
  • Develop and maintain connections and relationships with stakeholders related to their communications files, coordinate external suppliers, and occasionally oversee the work of external suppliers;
  • Collaborate in the organization of internal events;
  • Develop dynamic communications tools, such as videos, shooting and editing them in-house;
  • Monitor trends and best practices in our field of activity in order to propose innovative ideas and proactive support to our internal clients;
  • Develop and maintain processes, procedures, standards, tools and measures to optimize value-added actions and generate return on investments.

 


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Communications or equivalent training combined with relevant experience;
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities;
  • Demonstrated internal communications experience within a corporation;
  • Experience in a public company (an asset);
  • Excellent command of English and French (written and spoken);
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
