The purpose of the position:

Alithya is making a shift towards HRIS implementation, and its 0-3 year path aims to implement the Oracle HCM Cloud HRIS through Alithya and its subsidiaries.

 

The position holder will provide first level expertise and support for the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of our HRIS systems. They will assist in the needs analysis, as well as the evaluation and resolution of requests related to navigation, data and process issues. They will develop and maintain detailed documentation of processes and procedures.

 

A typical day:

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures and methods to ensure business continuity;
  • Document and conduct the necessary testing for the deployment of a new version, module or function, or for a change;
  • Respond to questions from the Human Capital team and other departments;
  • Work to resolve submitted problems and inform users of the cause and solutions as required;
  • Collaborate in the analysis of the business needs of stakeholders;
  • Produce and execute reports on a regular basis to ensure data quality, and report any corrective actions to be taken;
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the HCM module configuration to ensure business continuity;
  • Analyze and document the business requirements for the development of certain reports and track the progress of deliverables;
  • Assist with the monitoring of deadlines and tasks to be accomplished in a project and assist in the implementation of solutions;
  • Work in close collaboration with the functional analysts and developers of the internal Oracle practice team;
  • Ensure the production and development of ad hoc and planned reports to meet the needs of the Human Capital team;
  • Validate the data in the import file and take action to correct erroneous or missing information;
  • Assist in the development of roles and security to ensure the confidentiality of information;
  • Define and implement the key performance indicators (KPIs) to be produced to facilitate decision making;
  • Interact with various stakeholders (HR and non-HR) at all levels of the organization to understand business issues and clarify requirements;
  • Collaborate on the improvement and evolution of the HCM module;
  • Carry out other tasks and projects assigned to you.


Ideal candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline;
  • Three (3) to five (5) years experience in Human Resources;
  • Experience as an analyst with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system;
  • Analyst experience with Oracle HCM (an asset);
  • Strong process writing skills (an asset);
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word);
  • Strong interest in technology and innovation;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to working with great precision;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Clear sense of urgency to get results;
  • Excellent customer service;
  • Ability to work on multiple files simultaneously and meet deadlines;

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in English and French.
