The purpose of the position:

You will manage the business analysis, software development, implementation and production support for either 1 large or 2-3 small projects. You will be responsible for the overall project management, including budget, planning/estimation, recruiting, resource planning, delivery and implementation. You will communicate project direction and status to the client, manage client expectations, and build successful client relationships.


The work is primarily in the Midwest and Eastern United States. Must be willing to travel but can be in either the US or Canada.


A typical work day:

  • Responsible for all project deliverables and documentation, including Project Status Reports, Budget Reports, Fit/Gap, FDDs, and DAFs, ensuring they are maintained in the Document Repository and that all products are high quality, thorough, and uploaded in parallel with the project timeline;
  • Write thorough and high-quality Project Status and Budget Reports, and distribute them within in the time frame stated in the SOW;
  • Ensure team member scheduling is done in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Confirm required project deliverables are delivered as defined by the SOW;
  • Use LCS and VSTS tools as defined by the company’s methodology throughout the project;
  • Responsible for quarterly project team member reviews;
  • Manage the development portion of the project.

Ideal candidate
  • Has completed a minimum of 5 ERP manufacturing implementations;
  • Must be an active in ERP Project Management;
  • Has completed at least 2 implementations in AX (will consider Non-AX SR PMs if have completed multiple manufacturing ERP implementations for another software vendor);
  • Fluent in manufacturing principals and can communicate these principals to the client;
  • Comfortable as a business consultant and as a PM;
  • Strong leadership and multitasking skills;
  • Experience working for a manufacturing company (highly desirable);
  • Able to lead the client in a rapid manufacturing deployment.
