We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our Finance team.

As the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will collaborate with multiple business units and work with the corporate and operational teams in order to execute the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units in order to:

    • Review and analyze the financial and operating results as well as support decision-making by assembling, interpreting and analyzing financial results;

    • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts;

  • Lead the global and continuous improvement of the budgeting and forecasting methodology, model and process;

  • Ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the financial planning and analysis functions, through the management of all financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans. Identify and recommend changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the FPA team’s methods and procedures;

  • Develop and improve the reporting of key performance indicators (KPI's) and dashboards to monitor the business specifically with regards to efficiency, profitability, as well as time and resource management;

  • Be responsible for reporting projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, perform in depth analysis, interpret results and develop actionable insights and recommendations for use across the business units;

  • Perform various financial analyses, projections and scenarios, prepare presentations of the results and recommendations;

  • Assist in preparation of various presentations for internal and external stakeholders;

  • Actively participate in the conception and implementation of financial planning IT tools;

  • Supervise a small staff of FPA analyst;

  • Participate in other projects as necessary.

Does this sound like you?
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business or Accounting, MBA and/or CPA preferred; 
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A or similar or related functions, preferably in a service industry;
  • Organized and detailed-oriented, comfortable balancing multiple competing projects;
  • Adaptable and flexible operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Highly collaborative approach;
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation;
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses;
  • Understands business implications of decisions;
  • Able to handle multiple functions simultaneously and independently;
  • Strong drive, dedication and work ethic;
  • Analytical, with attention to details and accuracy;
  • Strong communication skills (spoken and written) in both French and English, with excellent writing skills in English;
    • French :4/4 
    • English: 4/4
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (financial modelling) and MS PowerPoint (presentations);
  • Knowledge of Oracle or other enterprise ERP software is an asset.
