The Director of Services is an experienced consulting and management professional who will oversee the planning, execution and monitoring of multiple projects to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Client Relations Responsibilities

  • Provide clients with smooth transition from the sales phase through to product implementation;
  • Work closely with experts to define application systems that support redesign and improve business processes for our clients;
  • Provide the highest quality service;
  • Ensure the highest quality standards are met in all assignments;
  • Meet or exceed client expectations;
  • Build professional credibility and foster long-term relationships with client contacts;
  • Develop reference clients.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Embrace, support, communicate and further exhibit Alithya's vision and values;
  • Think and act in congruence with Alithya’s business objectives;
  • Advise senior-level management and clients. Work with management and consultants to provide insight and advice to clients on strategic direction;
  • Adopt a lead role in developing standards and best practices for high quality and increased productivity. Use broad knowledge of business process design, all product modules, and pertinent and associated technologies;
  • Coach and mentor consultants in methodologies and tools, assist in their application in project situations (when necessary), and provide consulting management to consultants on some engagements (if required);
  • Maintain and integrate understanding of advances in technology and industry;
  • Share and disseminate applicable information with client and team;
  • Provide pre-sales and sales support.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and complete high quality work in a timely manner;
  • Submit all timesheets, expense reports, status reports, and management reports in a timely manner;
  • Provide assistance and guidance to less experienced managers and consultants;
  • Assist in recruiting and interviewing, as well as with assessment and enhancement of consultant skills.

Personal Development Responsibilities

  • Use negotiation skills to influence client business direction as well as project team decisions;
  • Maintain excellent understanding of industry trends. Constantly further personal knowledge base;
  • Continue to increase skills and product knowledge consistent with professional development requirements;
  • Contribute valuable and accurate information to the company's knowledge base.

Does this sound like you?
  • 1 year of experience as a Microsoft D365 F&O Director of Services or a similar role;

  • MS/MBA degree in management, business, MIS, or a technical discipline. Specialized training or 4 years of additional experience may substitute for an advanced degree;
  • Minimum 8 years of technical, analytical or operational experience with at least 3 years of consulting experience managing projects and personnel;
  • Expert-level knowledge in a vertical discipline, industry, technology, or cross products in the technical/application area;
  • Master-level competencies in areas of leadership, creativity, efficiency, excellence, integrity, flexibility, relationship management, and influence;
  • Proven ability to design and implement business solutions and technologies;
  • Ability to develop and deliver quality presentations to clients and management;
  • Thorough knowledge and expertise in the application of all phases of implementation methodology;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and surpass the expectations of company and client;
  • During Covid, travel is limited to client sites, but will resume to 25.0% of the time;
