We are looking for a Senior Analyst – Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our Finance team in Montréal !

 

A typical work day:

 

  • Work closely with different business units to ensure the integrity and reliability of the financial and operating results.  Additionally, support decision-making by assembling, interpreting, analyzing and reconciling financial results;
  • Work closely with internal clients to prepare their annual budgets and quarterly forecasts as well as prepare variance analyses to review together with cost center owners;
  • Responsible for the creation of reports of projects which gather and integrate large volumes of data and perform in depth analysis. Addtionally will interpret results and develop recommendations as well as actionable insights to apply within the company;
  • Design and develop financial models and reports to improve the forecasting and reporting processes;
  • Perform various financial analysis, projections and scenarios as well as prepare presentations of results and provide recommendations;
  • Participate in the preparation of various operational presentations for the board;
  • Actively contribute to the conception and implementation of financial planning IT tools;
  • Suggest initiatives seeking continuous improvement;
  • Participate in other projects when required.


Ideal candidate
  • Organized with a strong eye for detail and comfortable balancing multiple competing projects;
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility whilst operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Highly collaborative approach;
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business or Accounting, MBA and/or CPA preferred;
  • Minimum of 5 years in FP&A, preferably in a service industry;
  • Strong communication skills (spoken and written) in both French and English;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (financial modelling) and MS PowerPoint (presentations);
  • Knowledge of Oracle software an asset.
