We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Accounting team in Montréal for the US Division !

 

A typical work day:

 

  • Conduct analysis of results organised by business unit;
  • Follow up and track the revenue, project margin and budget of projects;
  • Track progress of fixed price projects with operations and validate revenue recognition as per contracts;
  • Monitor and follow up maintenance schedule;
  • Responsible for reconciliations and monitoring of certain balance sheet items;
  • Record certain month-end accounting entries;
  • Participate in improving Oracle financial processes and reporting;
  • Work with the Operations Department to provide any required financial information;
  • Participate in the preparation of presentations for management;
  • Assist in the preparation of the files audit;
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies;
  • Perform internal controls required to perform their duties;
  • All other related duties.


Ideal candidate
  • Strong adaptability and organizational skills;
  • CPA (asset) with a minimum of five (5) years of experience;
  • Experience in a service company (asset);
  • Experience within a company with US operations (asset);
  • Knowledge of Oracle software (asset)
  • Advanced mastery of Excel software;
  • Bilingualism (English essential).
