Take your ambitions to next level

You will work within an Agile Quality Assurance team assisting in the automation and manual testing efforts and report to the QA Manager:

  • Interact with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Developers to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives;
  • Work with Quality Assurance SMEs and development teams to understand functional requirements;
  • Provide work estimates based on feature scope;
  • Contribute to the Automation Test Strategy/Plan;
  • Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical acceptance criteria;
  • Develop and execute automated tests designed to improve test coverage;
  • Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build new tools for performing testing/validation functions;
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of integration and performance/load test scripts;
  • Perform thorough automated and manual testing, as well as data validation;
  • Contribute to the analysis of automation test results;
  • Participate in the troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.

Does this sound like you?

  • At least three (3) years of related experience in software quality assurance and in test automation;

  • Seven (7) years of experience as a Senior QA Analyst - automation or in a similar role;

  • Knowledge of the Red Hat Linux and Windows operating systems. Z/OS knowledge is considered an asset;

  • Strong foundation in all levels of testing - unit, functional, system integration, component integration and regression;
  • Ability to work within a Scrum team;
  • Ability to create test cases that provide maximum coverage, given a set of requirements;
  • Sound debugging and diagnostic skills of discovered issues during testing;
  • Knowledge working with test frameworks;
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or SalesForce will be a strong asset:
  • Experience with the following:
    • Agile (Scrum/Kanban);
    • QA Best practices for Manual and automated testing;
    • Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) architecture;
    • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA);
    • JSON, XML data format;
    • The role of testing in CI/CD;
    • Testing Databases and SQL;
    • At least one of these programming languages: Python, C++, VB, Java.
