Take your ambitions to the next level
You will be responsible for the configuration, testing and technical support of the equipment used to deliver our services to our business customers. You will interact with our customers on a daily basis to both configure contract services and resolve post-sales technical incidents. In addition, you will work as part of a team with the Project Manager and Network Planner to deliver ordered services and support customers in the rapid resolution of network incidents. Finally, you will contribute to the improvement of tools and processes affecting your sector.
  • Review the services provided for in the contract and contact the customer to specify certain technical parameters (addressing plan, configuration options, etc.);
  • Configure network equipment according to the specifics of the solution sold and carry out tests with the customer in preparation for final activation;
  • Work with project managers to communicate the technical constraints or particularities of the project as well as the steps required to resolve them;
  • Document all services and circuits delivered in the company's systems;
  • Work with network analysts to deliver or support non-standard solutions;
  • Act as a first-line point of contact for all technical support requests once the service is delivered;
  • Investigate, diagnose, document and resolve customer technical incidents;
  • Communicate with requesting customers on the status of incidents and inform them of the next steps to resolve them;
  • Open tickets with dark fiber service providers when required, and monitor their progress;
  • Ensure compliance with SLA/contracts (response time, resolution time) and escalate, if necessary, either internally or with suppliers;
  • Write incident reports at the customer's request;
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities that affect your sector;
  • Receive and inventory the material ordered to meet the needs of the company. Manage the physical inventory as well as the material received and used for the different projects or operational needs, and process the shipment of goods (RMA) to our suppliers or our customers;
  • Execute all other related tasks related to the support and delivery of services.

Does this sound like you?
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a similar position;
  • College diploma in networking or related field;
  • CCNA Network Certification or equivalent;
  • Mastery of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and HSRP protocols;
  • Knowledge of MPLS, VPN, L2VPN, LDP, ISIS, IPV6, DNS, SMTP, DHCP, GRE and IPsec protocols;
  • Strong interest in MEF-CECP standards;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Resourceful and willing to take charge;
  • Client oriented and excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Able to demonstrate organization, rigor and diligence in the tasks to be performed;
  • Excels when working in a team in matrix mode;
  • Quick understanding of the technical particularities of each client according to their business context;
  • Ability to work occasionally under pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Excellent communication with teams in both French and English. Expected level:
    • French :4/4 
    • English: 4/4
