We are looking for a Talent Acquisition advisor, for a permanent position in downtown Montreal!

 

The purpose of the position:

 

You will be responsible for researching and successfully identifying the best talent for different IT roles. We are looking for people who like to work in a dynamic and high-volume recruitment environment. You will be responsible for the entire recruitment cycle and for maintaining relationships with the various candidates. We are looking for talent who will be an advocate for the candidate’s experience.

 

A typical work day:

 

  • Think globally about the candidate’s experience through all stages, from the needs assessment;
  • Act locally during candidate experience at every contact;
  • Understand clients’ needs and demands, ask questions and adjust requests based on market reality;
  • Develop and prioritize talent attraction and acquisition strategies;
  • Complete a full recruitment cycle from candidate sourcing through negotiation to the offer;
  • Search and attract the best candidates, both active and passive, through various platforms and social media;
  • Develop innovative recruitment and talent attraction strategies to identify candidates/consultants with strong IT expertise;
  • Describe projects and role the candidate will fulfill;
  • Provide and follow-up on posting platforms as required;
  • Refine and grow your network of IT contacts;
  • Work with our team of alternative attraction strategists;
  • Participate in the implementation of the employer brand and recruitment marketing;
  • Screen and interview candidates;
  • Have knowledge of the position’s requirements and candidate in order to ensure a balance between the requirements of the position and the candidate’s career development plan;
  • Negotiate with and for each of the parties involved;
  • Support candidates in the preparation of their CVs and interviews;
  • Present the best candidates to managers and clients, within announced budgets;
  • Follow the candidate’s experience with our international mobility, contract management and human capital teams;
  • Work with our business development team;
  • Propose new work methodologies for you/us to improve;
  • Attend monthly events to meet candidates;
  • Increase Alithya’s visibility throughout the Quebec market and internationally.

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience;
  • Experience in IT (an important asset);
