We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Team Lead, an opportunity located in downtown Montreal – next to the Central Station!

 

The purpose of the position:

 

The team leader’s mandate will be to maintain the happiness of their team and support them in the day-to-day operations of the talent acquisition process for a dedicated client. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about achieving results and who will enjoy developing their team, developing their skills and constantly seek for them to improve.

In collaboration with their manager, this recruitment enthusiast will be involved in the development of talent acquisition strategies and will make it their mission to protect the candidate experience. Together, with their colleagues, they will need to employ the best practices of talent development. 

 

We are growing rapidly and the newest team member will accept our processes and tools are continuously being defined.

We are looking for a changemaker who will is engaged and who has the ability to manage ambiguity. We are seeking talent to participate in defining the future of the talent acquisition team at Alithya.

 

A typical work day:

 

  • Ensure proper allocation of requests in order to manage team workload;
  • Define and clarify requisitions directly with the client and ensure operational excellence;
  • Support your team in managing the talent acquisition process from the beginning through to the closing offer;
  • Monitor and measure the quality of submitted CVs;
  • Develop, coach and support team members in their professional development plan;
  • Define and identify recruitment priorities with various internal or external clients;
  • Monitor different performance indicators;
  • Participate in the development of talent acquisition strategies.


Ideal candidate
  • Strong prioritization skills, flexibility and adaptability to meet changing priorities and needs;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with particular interest in service to candidates;
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to meet deadlines, working well under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail;
  • 5-7 years of experience in either professional or IT recruitment, and including team management experience;
  • Bilingual, in both written and spoken English and French;
  • Experience using TTY/CRM, Boolean research, and using social media in candidate searches;
  • Experience in a high volume recruitment management firm a strong asset.
