Financial Analyst

Reporting to the financial reporting controller, you will join the team responsible for the delivery of financial analysis and reporting for a comprehensive global view of the group.

• Perform:

  • month-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and month-end reports;

  • data entry and data compilation for financial analysis.

• Assist with:

  • the preparation of quarter-end and year-end financial information, including management and board presentations;

  • SOX control performance and documentation;

  • continuous improvement projects to enhance our processes and support business growth;

  • queries from different departments and other ad hoc requests.

Does this sound like you?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting;

• CPA designation or in the process of obtaining it (asset);

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience;

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly master financial systems;

• Experience with ERP systems (asset);

• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a changing environment;

• Dynamic personality with an ability to learn quickly, be proactive, and adapt to changing requirements.

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a daily basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec, and to read and understand documentation.
