The Oracle Cloud ERP AR/Advanced Lead Consultant provides domain, functional and technical expertise required to effectively design and implement solutions on the Oracle Cloud ERP Receivables module.

  • Provide techno-functional expertise on projects and initiatives involving Oracle Cloud ERP receivables and its integration with other internal and external boundary applications;

  • Identify gaps and present solution options to businesses based on nuances of the Oracle Receivables product and best practices;

  • Ensure that all capabilities delivered align with original business objectives, application service levels, IT strategies, and design intent;

  • Work with the client’s finance and accounting functions to capture and map business requirements to the Oracle Cloud functionality. Identify gaps and advise clients on options, risks, and value propositions;

  • Be accountable for the generation and accuracy of the requirements document and the Oracle Cloud ERP configuration;

  • Configure Oracle Cloud ERP as part of the implementation and ensure that the implementation meets the design of the solution and aligns with Oracle Cloud ERP implementation recommended best practices;

  • Be accountable for the solution design, configuration and implementation and ensure the implementation is consistent with this design;

  • Organize and facilitate functional design sessions with business users from multiple geographical regions and functional areas;

  • Integrate requirements from multiple design sessions and teams into the Cloud ERP system design;

  • Develop use and test cases to test the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and participate in the execution of such test cases;

  • Provide support to the testing team and end users during the various test cycles and remediate or dispose of test case failures or anomalies;

  • Align departmental policies and procedures with Cloud ERP system processes, policies and procedures in the solution implementation;

  • Support the IT solution project execution methodology, report on project progress, and proactively identify and manage issues through closure.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher;

  • Over eight years of experience in Oracle ERP implementation;

  • Thorough understanding of operational financial controls and accounting processes as well as deep functional knowledge of the Oracle Cloud ERP Receivables module;

  • Demonstrable experience in participating in Oracle ERP (EBS) implementations as a functional consultant with a minimum of three implementations (at least one implementation with Oracle Cloud ERP Receivables);

  • Experience with configuration responsibilities;

  • Expert knowledge in financial system integration and overall ERP development, testing and support;

  • Demonstrable experience in facilitating and conducting requirement gathering sessions, JAD sessions, conference room pilots, UAT test case development, and oversight;

  • Experience gathering requirements, designing, and implementing Receivables, Customer Billing, Payment System Connectivity, Customers, Revenue Management, Credit Management, Cash Management & Banking, and Advanced Collections;

  • Experience working with ERP to mature financial processes and reporting;

  • Lead experience:

    • Leading small teams (two to four people);

    • Leading design sessions;

    • Creating requirements and design documents;

    • Creating a parallel testing strategy and approach;

    • Familiarization with project management methodologies and Microsoft Project.

  • Testing and training experience, specifically in helping finance and accounting functions adopt the newly defined procedures;

  • Experience in a flexible, innovative, and fast-paced work environment;

  • Superior communication skills: written, spoken and presentation, with the ability to communicate and interact with senior and executive-level management and influence outcomes;

  • Previous experience in the healthcare/hospital, insurance, or financial services industry is an asset.
