Please note that this is a hybrid position. Candidates will be required to work a schedule that overlaps with the US Central time morning schedule until 12 PM CST.

Initially, presence at our Hyderabad office will be required at least three days a week. After six months, upon approval, flexibility to work remotely will be offered. No travel is required for this position.

Alithya is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented Oracle Cloud developer to join our growing offshore Oracle team. Reporting to the Managed Services Technical Team Manager based in the United States, you will work as part of the Managed Services team to provide post-production support to various Oracle Cloud ERP, SCM and HCM clients. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, maintain and support integrations, extensions, reports, and application components for Oracle HCM and ERP Cloud to meet the unique business needs of Alithya’s client base.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about consistently delivering great experiences and superior quality work products to our clients. You will be working in a help desk shared services environment using the Jira ticketing system and will be working with multiple clients from various industries along with onshore US-based functional and technical team members.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide post-production support to live clients on integration builds, break/fixes, report writing and development, and fast formulas. There will be occasional opportunities to work on mini projects, remote implementations, and footprint expansions. You will also receive training and learn additional modules.

  • Own, implement, and maintain best practice solutions for Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM for RICEW objects;

  • Drive software through the software development life cycle (SDLC) starting with requirements analysis and modelling through implementation, debugging, deployment and ongoing support;

  • Create and maintain accurate, unambiguous technical design documents in a standardized format with an appropriate level of detail;

  • Collaborate with functional and technical team members to complete the assigned tasks on schedule and within the estimated effort;

  • Work with senior team members to ensure compliance to design standards and contribute to policies on development, design and best practices for code quality, performance and architecture;

  • Work collaboratively across the on-site and offshore teams to ensure alignment towards unified project goals and deliverables;

  • Participate in technical work sessions with clients or cross-functional teams for design specifications, for new and existing technical components;

  • Be flexible and willing to learn and adapt to the changing needs of our growing business;

  • Track and maintain all development activities in designated software development tracking solution;

  • Communicate and work effectively within and across teams to achieve assigned goals.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field preferred;

  • Three years of experience:

    • with SQL and PL/SQL, OTBI, BIP, RTF templates, FBDI and HDL and Workflow tools;

    • designing and developing large-scale integrations between third-party systems and Oracle Cloud Applications using SOAP and REST-based services.

  • Over five years of relevant professional hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM;

  • Experience working in a Sprint-driven, Agile project environment and traditional Waterfall methodologies;

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • software development principles, processes, concepts, and techniques;

    • the following Oracle technologies: OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

  • Knowledge of Java, XML, JDeveloper, Visual Builder Cloud Service, Groovy Scripting, and Cloud Framework native to Oracle Fusion Applications;

  • Deep understanding of REST and SOAP APIs of Oracle Cloud ERP and building ETL-based integrations through these APIs;

  • High-level knowledge of:

    • Oracle modules related to Financials and HCM (e.g., AP, AR, GL, Procurement, CM, Core HR, Payroll, Benefits);

    • Oracle Cloud Fusion Security framework.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Ability to work with little or no direction on day-to-day work or new assignments;

  • Excellent communication, both verbal and oral, in English.
