Alithya is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented Oracle Cloud Developer who is passionate about consistently delivering great experiences and superior quality work products to our clients to join our growing offshore Oracle team. This role is within our Managed Services team, providing post-production support to various Oracle Cloud ERP and SCM clients.

Reporting to the US-based Manager of the Managed Services technical team, your primary responsibility will be to develop, maintain and support integrations, extensions, reports, and application components for Oracle SCM and ERP Cloud to meet the unique business needs of Alithya’s client base.

You will be working in a help desk shared services environment using the Jira ticketing system and will be working with multiple clients from various industries along with onshore, US-based functional and technical team members. You will mainly provide live post-production support for clients on integration builds, break fixes, report writing and development, and fast formulas. There will be occasional opportunities to work on mini projects, remote implementations and footprint expansions. Additionally, you will also opportunities to receive training and learn additional modules and skill sets.

  • Own, implement, and maintain best practice solutions for Oracle Cloud SCM and ERP for RICEW objects;

  • Drive software through the software development life cycle (SDLC), from the requirements analysis and modelling to the implementation, debugging, deployment and ongoing support;

  • Create and maintain accurate, unambiguous technical design documents with appropriate levels of detail in a standardized format;

  • Collaborate with functional, technical team members to complete the assigned tasks on schedule and within the estimated effort;

  • Work with senior team members to ensure compliance with design standards and contribute to policies on development, design and best practices for code quality, performance and architecture;

  • Work collaboratively with on-site and offshore teams to ensure alignment towards unified project goals and deliverables;

  • Participate in technical work sessions with clients or cross-functional teams for design specifications, for new and existing technical components;

  • Remain flexible and willing to learn and adapt to the changing needs of our growing business;

  • Track and maintain all development activities in the designated software development tracking solution;

  • Communicate and work effectively within and across teams to achieve assigned goals.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field (preferred);

  • Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and SCM;

  • Three years of experience:

    • in designing and developing large-scale integrations between third-party systems and Oracle Cloud Applications using SOAP and REST based services;

    • with SQL and PL/SQL, OTBI, BIP, RTF templates, FBDI and HDL and workflow tools.

  • Experience:

    • with integrations tied to Oracle Cloud SCM (Order Management, Inventory, Pricing, Costing, Shipping, WMS [Logfire], Product Data Hub and related modules);

    • working in a sprint-driven, Agile project environment and traditional Waterfall methodologies.

  • Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud ERPs, REST and SOAP APIs and building ETL-based integrations through these APIs;

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • the following Oracle technologies: OTBI, BI Publisher, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC);

    • software development principles, processes, concepts, and techniques.

  • Knowledge of Java, XML, JDeveloper, Visual Builder Cloud Service, Groovy scripting, and cloud framework native to Oracle Fusion applications;

  • High-level knowledge of:

    • Oracle modules related to Financials and HCM (e.g., AP, AR, GL, Procurement, CM, Core HR, Payroll, Benefits);

    • Oracle Cloud Fusion Security framework.

  • Ability to work with little to no directions on day-to-day tasks or new assignments;

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and oral).
