How do we wish to work in the future? With more flexibility, more meaning, more possibilities. The subject is no longer topical, but is now a fact: the last two years have fundamentally changed the world of work.

For Alithya, this means taking concrete measures, imparting a set of values which promise benefits, and above all, respecting these.

1. The candidate experience: the new cornerstone

For many organizations, candidates are also customers. You can lose your valuable customers because of a bad experience. On the other hand, a great experience can lead to referrals, even when potential candidates are not chosen. In 2023, we expect to see an increased emphasis on all aspects of the candidate experience. What does an excellent candidate experience look like?

Key aspects at Alithya include:

  • Access to information that allows our candidates to make an informed decision about whether the role and Alithya are a good fit for their personal profile.
  • Transparent and on-time communication at all stages of the process.

2. Making interactions with candidates more human

After months of telecommuting, job changes, confinements and restrictions, employees feel disconnected. In 2023, we predict that organizations will place great emphasis on creating connections through real, authentic, and personalized technology experiences in the recruitment and hiring process. By focusing on simplified technology, our teams will pave the way for personalized and engaging experiences for our candidates.

3. A renewed focus on employee engagement

In addition to attracting talented people, a positive workplace environment stimulates engagement and influences happiness, satisfaction, and performance. Alithya's positive personality and its environment are influenced by many elements: leadership, management, workplace practices, politics, people, among many more.

Thanks to Alithya's strong ethos, employees feel valued. Whether working from home, choosing projects or trying out a new role, employees feel valued and can make decisions to achieve better outcomes.

4. Professional training and continued learning are essential

For companies and organizations, the most practical solution is to encourage their employees to learn, by supporting an environment based on knowledge sharing and mentoring, and by allocating a budget for education or training costs. By investing in the perfecting of its employees, Alithya can count on their strategic contribution, as well as on their ability to adapt to constant change and to think outside the box.

We make on-site training accessible and beneficial to employees across practices and roles. They can all continuously perfect themselves to advance their careers and improve their business effectiveness.

5. Attracting the new generation of workers

As they complete their studies, members of Generation Z are entering the workforce in large numbers. To attract the most talented people, leading organizations are promoting their employer brand in new and stimulating ways.

A strong and relevant social media presence is no longer optional, it has become essential. More than any other generation, members of Generation Z are looking for your employer brand through social media. Understanding what excites, motivates and inspires Gen Z candidates will be key to our recruitment strategy!
