The 2020 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) – the world's largest annual display of technology, equipment, supplies, and services used in the production and processing of eggs, meat, and poultry and those involved in feed manufacturing – made a great stride in the effort to fight against hunger.
IPPE set out with a goal to raise $30,000 for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Through contributions from IPPE exhibitors and attendees, including Alithya, this goal was surpassed. On January 30, IPPE presented a check for $45,000 to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
This donation will aid in providing more than 160,000 meals to families in the metro Atlanta and North Georgia area, where one in four children face food insecurity each day. There’s nothing more special than having the ability to give back to our community. Thank you to IPPE for spearheading this cause and helping us all make a difference.
