Alithya embraces benevolence at the heart of its corporate culture, and that ethos continues to build momentum through the spirited actions of the company’s professionals.

For many, giving back to the communities in which we work and live is a source of joy, and the recent endeavours of our colleagues in around the world exemplify Alithya’s team spirit.

Québec – Make-A-Wish® Ride for Wishes 

The Make-A-Wish® Ride for Wishes is an annual initiative sponsored by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization fiercely dedicated to helping fulfil the dreams of sick children across Canada. This year’s event consisted of a one-week virtual challenge for cyclists of all levels, who took to the road during the week of September 11-18 to help raise funds via the organization’s online donations platform.

Led by our CIO, Robert Lamarre and exuberant CEO, Paul Raymond, Alithya fielded five individual teams in Quebec who put their pedals in motion to generate $38,500 in donations in support of this incredibly worthy cause.



France – Odysséa Cannes Race

On September 19, Alithya France employees (and their families) took part in the “Odysséa Cannes 2021” Race! The athletic goal of the race is a human one before anything: to participate in the fight against breast cancer. Whether the 5 kilometers were covered by walking or running; young and old alike have taken up the challenge, and with a smile. They were able to raise 11,500 euros ($ 17,000 CDN).


Ontario – Terry Fox Run

On September 19, a group of Alithya employees in Toronto-Pickering took to the streets of their respective neighborhoods to run, to cycle, and to walk their four-legged friends in order to raise funds for a great cause.

The activities were carried out in support of the Terry Fox Run, an annual event that has been raising funds for cancer research since 1981. This year marked the second consecutive ‘virtual’ run of the campaign, rallying more than 650 communities across Canada around the theme of ‘One Day. Your Way!’

Proving that even a pandemic cannot dampen the spirit of giving, Alithya team members raised $4,061 for the cause, including a $2,000 donation from Alithya.
